Dear Friends

Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

South Africa – A Country in Crisis

Please tune in tonight to From the Frontline podcast on www.FrontlineMissionSA.org. It will be uploaded and available on our http://fromthefrontline.podbean.com/from 21:00 tonight, Tuesday, 19 March. Emma will be interviewing me concerning the myriad of crises which are confronting South Africa at this time. As I have just returned from a Mission driving across South Africa, I was able to learn first-hand from school principals, teachers, pastors, missionaries, farmers, police and politicians, some of the disturbing and bewildering array of threats which many South Africans have to deal with on a daily basis. There are important developments we need to know about and some inspiring examples of resilience and resistance of many brave and bold Christian witnesses working in difficult and dangerous situations, shining the light of Christ, evangelising in their communities and making a positive difference. “…what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8

Why No Christian Should Support BBBEE Affirmative Action Racism

Please join us this Thursday, 21 March, at 19:00 for tea and fellowship and at 19:30 for a presentation on the scandalous corruption and catastrophic consequences of Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Affirmative Action Racism and its role in debasing South Africa’s currency, eroding investor confidence in the country, chasing away investors, tourists and employers, looting parastatals, such as SAA, Eskom and Transnet.

The fact that so many millions of Christians in South Africa continue to vote for political parties which endorse and practise Affirmative Action is a disgrace. Racial quotas in sports and business steals from everybody. The countrywide power failures are just one example of the unintended consequences that flow from the race politics of entitlement. “The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the foreigner shall be the same before the Lord: The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you.” Numbers 15:15-16
