All around we see evidence of a rising tide of godlessness. Crime and grime. Litter and pollution. Deforesting and Degenerating. Pornography and prostitution. Gambling and drunkenness. Drug abuse and urban decay. Legalised abortion and child abuse. Corruption in government and racial quotas in the workplace. Sex education and social engineering in schools. Hostility to Christianity and intolerance of Biblical standards.

"I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before Me in the gap, on behalf of the land, so I would not have to destroy it " Ezekiel 22:30

Are we just to accept this downward trend as inevitable? Are we not to grieve over this national catastrophe of broken homes, broken lives and broken hearts? Should we not rise up and challenge this destruction of all moral and ethical foundations?

"See the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the walls and we will no longer be in disgrace." Nehemiah 2:17

We need to clean up our communities and transform our nation for Christ. We need to take responsibility for the education of our children and we need to lay solid Biblical foundations for the future. We need God to have mercy on us and to grant us a fresh outpouring of His Holy Spirit. We need a Revival of repentance and of the fear of God that we might worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

"O, that You would rend the heavens and come down come down to make Your Name known to Your enemies and cause the nations to quake before You!" Isaiah 64:1-2

Do you long for spiritual Revival? In your own life? In your family? In your congregation? In your community and in your country?

"O God, You are my God, earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You, my body longs for You in a dry and weary land " Psalm 63:1

This is where we need to start - in our personal devotional lives, on our knees, in repentance and wholeheartedly seeking after God. Seeking His presence and His purposes in our lives.

"Restore us, O God Almighty; make Your face shine upon us, that we may be saved." Psalm 80:7

If you long to see God turn back the rising tide of godlessness in our society, then join us at the Reformation and Revival Conference in Bellville Saturday 25 October. This conference is dedicated to transforming lives that will, in turn, transform communities.

"Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and raise up the age-old foundations; You will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings." Isaiah 58:12

If you have been praying for spiritual Revival and Biblical Reformation - then this Reformation and Revival Conference is an ideal place to start. Set aside this Saturday and join with other Christians who are dedicated to changing their world for Christ. By Gods grace you will experience a renewed joy, a revitalised devotional life, a restored vision of what God wants you to do for Him in these challenging days. Do you have an appointment with God on 25 October?

"Create in me a pure heart O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways and sinners will turn back to You." Psalm 51:10 12

The Reformation and Revival Conference will be held at the Emmanuel Church of England, Patou Avenue, Amanda Glen, Bellville starting at 8:30am and going through to the screening of the Luther film in the evening 18:00 to 21:00.

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind" Romans 12:2

The Reformation and Revival Conference is designed to promote a renewed vision and revitalised devotion for our personal lives, our families, our churches, our nation and the world, resulting in us returning to God in repentance, rediscovering the Biblical agenda, rebuilding the moral walls of our society and resolutely working for Reformation and praying for Revival.

If you want Biblical answers to the tough issues of the day and if you want to experience spiritual revival join us this Saturday at the Emmanuel Church in Bellville.
