Implications of the Atonement

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21

The Atonement is one of the most foundational doctrines of the Christian faith. It describes the way in which sinners are reconciled to God. Flowing from the Atonement, the clear New Testament teaching is reconciliation and unity within the Body of Christ. What does this mean for the individual, the community, culture and society at large? Join us tonight for our latest From the Frontline podcast on www.FrontlineMissionSA.org, available on http://fromthefrontline.podbean.com/ at 21:00 tonight, Tuesday, 9 October. We will be discussing how the atonement affects our relationship with God and our relationships with each other in a world full of hostility. “For He Himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in His flesh the dividing wall of hostility” Ephesians 2:14

What Can We Learn from Persecution and Faith in Egypt?

Egypt has a rich Christian heritage, but it also has a long history of violence and Islamic persecution. Please join us Thursday, 11 October at 19:00 for tea and fellowship and at 19:30 I will present a lecture on Faith and Persecution in Egypt. “Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.” 1 Peter 4:12-13

Livingstone Fellowship

The next Livingstone Fellowship service will be 21 October when, God willing, Dr. Peter Hammond will have returned from his Mission overseas to deal with a Bible Survey on James.
